The CISA Study Guide published by Sybex get some of the best reviews of all the CISA books.  The book provides both the information you need to pass the CISA exam and practical information so your ready for real world applications.  CISA Study Guide also includes a CD with 700+ questions and also tips for successful auditing, an incident handling checklist, and scenarios.
 
If you have an IT Security background the CISA Study Guide has some good chapters on how to think like an auditor.   One warning that the questions may not match the actual test, but still contain good information to now.  Like most of the books you should supplement this with other test questions for example ISACA official review and test questions.
